PICK UP AND DROP OFF SERVICE

Ours is a "meet and greet" service, based on the logic that you are using us because you don't have personal transport, so we don't make you find your own way to our office (if your rental period is less than 4 days or if outside our normal business hours, there may be a small surcharge - we'll let you know).

"Pick Up & Drop Off" doesn't mean the car - it means that we come and get you - from the Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta), Robina Railway Station or your Gold Coast Accommodation. If your pickup or return is outside of our normal business hours, there may be a small surcharge. We will let you know when you provide your travel requirements.

We only have one office, therefore “one way rentals” or vehicle drop off at locations other than our office, Gold Coast Airport or Robina Railway are difficult to arrange – you will need to call us about these. 

An "Airport Access Levy" of $8.50 (per car load) applies when we pick you up from the Gold Coast Airport. No such levy applies when we take you back to the airport.

We will usually meet you at the baggage reclaim area - you can identify us because we will display a sign with your name on it. We will bring you back to our office in beautiful Burleigh Heads (right in the heart of the Gold Coast), complete the paper work and hand over the vehicle to you.

When your holiday is over, we are happy to take you back to the airport, railway or your accommodation. We call it "Limo Service, without the Limo".

Unlike many other car rental operators, we don’t charge you from the time your plane lands until your return flight takes off – we start when we give you the car and we finish when you give it back. Any transfer from and to the airport or other suitable location is outside of your rental period.

Rental days are for each 24 hour period commencing from pick up time. If you want to return the vehicle at a later time in the day than when you picked it up, we give you two hours of grace (except for rentals of 3 days or less) and then charge 20% of the nominal daily rate, plus another 20% for each completed hour, thus ensuring that you are not paying for a full day extra for just a couple of hours.

The 20% per hour factor applies for short term (less than 4 days) rentals without the two hours of grace. Our rentals start when you get the car and end when you give it back, so if you are coming and going by plane, you really have about four hours grace between the time of day for your arrival and the time of day for your departure. 

Please remember the return arrangements that we make when you pick up the vehicle, we need to ensure that we have the resources available to take you where you need to go, that’s why we make an appointment for you. If you want to change the time of your return please give us a call.
