Cheaper and more convenient than Public Transport

A 7 day Freedom bus pass will cost a family of 2 adults & 3 children $282 (current at November 2006). If any of the children are over 13yrs, it will cost more because they have to pay an “adult” fare. (3yr olds and younger will save you a bit, because they are free).

If you are arriving at and departing from Brisbane, the Gold Coast Fun Pass (combining Brisbane transfers and Gold Coast usage) will cost $444.

These Passes are valid for consecutive days from and including the airport arrival date. This means that if you arrive on (say) a Saturday, your pass will expire at midnight on the following Friday, except that you can use it to return to the airport on the Saturday (but that’s all).

If you don’t want to get a weekly ticket, transfers from Gold Coast Airport to Surfers Paradise will cost $52 one way or $96 return or a taxi is about $50 each way – any 14+ yr olds will cost you more. One trip to a theme park could cost you $17 per adult and $9 per child = $61 for the 5 of you.

Over 50 of our 80 or so vehicles are priced less than $280 for a week, many of them are less than $220 for a week - and you can use our rental car 24 hours a day.

We pick you up from the airport or your Gold Coast accommodation and return you to either the airport or your accommodation (refer to our website section called “Pick Up & Drop Off”).
